So, I ran into Walgreens to pick up a few things. I didn't want to spend more than a $1 so here's what I came up with.

Bought - Pilot G2 Gel Pens $1 (got $1 in RR=Register Rewards)

3 Highlighters @ .09 each = .27 cents
1 5pack of Mechanical Pencils .19
2 boxes of paper clips @.19 each = .38
3 Scotch Transparent Tape @ .39 each = 1.17
Original Total $2.01
Used $1.00 off any 3 Scotch Tape (7/12 RP insert)
Used $1.00 in RR
Total = $.01
I did exceed by budget by .01 but I think I'll let that one slide.
Tape seems to disappear around here so I was very happy with that deal.
As I was leaving Walgreens I thought to myself...
How much would this have cost me at the dollar store?
It's scary when you reach the point that you find the dollar store expensive! :-)
