Walgreens Trip - Everything for $1.36!

There are some good deals at Walgreens this week. I'll probably repeat all of these transactions again this week. I have to come up with a plan to roll or spend all the RR from the crazy Bayer deal. I have less than a week to figure out what to do with over $200 in RR! I'll probably use Joint Juice for some rolling since it's $10 get a $10 RR. Perfect with the $10 Bayer RR and no filler needed! Back to this shop. I picked up a few small money makers and then some items for pretty cheap. The swiffer refills are so expensive so I was happy to get some for a decent price! Here's what I did...

Overal Total After RR $1.36

*I wanted to add that it is VERY unusual that my OOP and my actual cost were exactly the same! One thing is really independent of the other so it's just a wacky coincidence.

*Also the Swiffer Buy Starter Kit get a FREE refill doesn't specify that the refill has to be for the Swiffer starter kit you bought, so I was able to get the more expensive refill for FREE! Yippee!

That's awesome! I wish our Walgreens let the RR roll over like that.

Awesome deals! I did almost the same as you last night. I have a random thought. As I was walking into Wags I wondered if anyone has leaned into their garbage outside and dug out some thrown away RRs....cause just by glancing I could tell some were in there!! :)

At my store if I pay with RR they won't give you any RR you should have earned. Not sure why. I even asked the manager and he said that is the way it is.

Heather,
We are going to have to have a talk with your store!

My 3 sons,
Let's say you are buying the Dove Men's Bodywash and you pay with a RR you earned from another Dove Men's Bodywash purchase you won't get a RR but if you pay with a RR you earned from something else, you shouldn't have a problem getting your RR. The machine will print one. Is it that it prints but they won't give it to you?

Jamie,
You are a genius. I haven't looked in my stores garbage can but I have picked up catalinas and RR off the floor in the parking lot. Next time I'm at Wags (which will be tomorrow) don't think I won't look!

I'm desperately looking for Joint Juice to roll but the store I went to today was out. Hoping for better luck tomorrow!

I can't get the Super Poligrip coupon to come up when I click on the link. An error 417 cookies enabled message comes up. I am NOT a computer guru and have no idea what this means. Please help! I would love to try to score these deals! Thank you!

Hi Christie,
have you used the RR from first transaction to pay for second transaction in this post? if that is so, both were same items. then how did it print same RR in second transaction?

Hi Cool 2 Clip,

Do you have the $1/1 from 1/3 RP? I'd probably just do that rather than have to deal with the headache of trying to figure out the computer. My guess is that it's not on your end. Sometimes things get wonky when more people than they normally get try to print Qs. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Hi Aha,

No, I usually take the RR I earn from one week and put them aside to use the following week. If you wanted to use the RR from one transaction to pay for the next one you can you just can't buy the same thing in both transactions. So for example...

Buy 1 Joint Juice $10
4 - 3 Musketeers $1.97(after in ad Q)
Total= $11.97
Minus
$6 RR from Dove
$2 RR from Poligrip
$3 RR from Kotex
Total OOp=.97 earn $10 RR, $1.50 RR

Then Buy
1 Poligrip $2
2 Kotex Pads 2/$6
1 Dove Mens BW $5.99
1 Disney Coloring Book .34
Total= $14.33
Minus
$10 RR you just earned Joint Juice
$1/1 Poligrip 1/3 RP
$1.25/1 Dove
$2/2 Kotex Printable
Wags in ad Q for Coloring Book
Total Oop=.08
(Earn $2 RR, $6 RR, $3 RR)

And just go back and forth between those 2.

You are truly amazing at this. I wish that my wags was closer and more coupon friendly. I'll just stick with CVS and Rite Aid, which are 1 mile from my home.
