Publix Coupon in Parade Mag 10/4

Take a look at your Parade magazine from Sunday’s paper and you might find a pleasant surprise. Many papers had a $5/$15 off of Unilever products at Publix. This is a store coupon so you can stack it with manufacturer’s coupons. Here are some ideas for how you can use it next week (starting 10/7 or 10/8 depending when Publix sales start in your area).

Knorr Sides Deal...Buy
18 Knorr Sides $15.21
Use $5/$15 Unilever
Use 6 - $1/3 Knorr Products
Publix-Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Flyer
Total $4.21 (less than .24 each!)

Dove Hair Products Deal...Buy
3 Dove Conditioners $8.67
3 Dove Shampoos $8.87
($2.89 each)
Use $5/$15 Unilever
Use 3 - $1.50 off Conditioner 10/4 SS
Use 3 - $1.00 off Shampoo 10/4 SS
Total $4.84 (less than .81 each!)

Again these sales don’t start until 10/7 or 10/8.
What other scenarios can you come up with?

Over $100 of Groceries for under $15 @ Publix!

It took me a while to make it out to Publix this week. The good news is that it’s because we were doing really well with our food supply with all the great deals we have been getting.

This was another great week at Publix and I was also able to take advantage of the SC Johnson Manufacturer rebate I wrote about HERE. I think next week might be a very small shop for us.

Here’s what I got

2 – Pillsbury Grands Biscuits $1 each

Send in for SC Johnson MIR HERE (-$5)
Final Total $14.60!!!

*I could have saved even more if I had gotten more reusable bags (which I could have since I bought enough General Mills to do so), or if I had bought smaller packages of ground beef or if I had more of the $2 Healthy Choice coupons. I was in a bit of a rush and just grabbed the smallest packages of ground beef that I could find and could only find 3 of the reusable bags I wanted (the cute ones with the stars). All in all I was very happy with my shop and I’m looking forward to my Hamburger Helper dinner tonight.

Kashi - Coupons From Vocal Point

I got a nice surprise in my mailbox today
(actually I had several but this was a stand out).
I got a booklet from Vocalpoin with some great
Kashi coupons. There were 2 coupons for
$3 off a box of Kashi Go Lean Crunch and another
3 coupons for $1.50 off a box. That is easily
5 boxes of FREE cereal and maybe even a money maker!
If you haven't joined vocalpoint I seriously recommend
it and you can find out more HERE.

After the great Special K, Fiber One and
Kashi Cereal deasl we had at Target a few weeks back
I'm good for about a year on cereal (which is pretty much
the expiration date of the last box). So, these will
probably go in the donation box, which I'm thrilled
to be able to do!

why I selected those items. If you want a better deal you
can select Revlon Nail Polish $3.99 get $3 ECB Back instead
of the shoelaces and throw in the $1 off Revlon in 9/13 SS.
Then just throw something in you need to equal your $25.

**Reinventing Beauty is a Magazine available for .99 cents
at CVS with CVS coupons inside. Some CVS stores will put out
the coupons that normally appear in the magazine in
the beauty section for no cost.

***I purchased 1 Viologie and 1 Fruitopia in each transaction
because those coupons state "1 coupon per customer". By
buying one of each and using one of each coupon I was able to
take advantage of the B1G1 deal and still meet the
requirementsof the coupon. Yes, it cost me .50 cents more
but I avoided any register problems!
