Kmart - Saved 96%!!!

Finally made it over to Kmart double coupon week.

My Kmart was absolutely dead. Even with double coupons

they don't seem to be doing much business.

It was a great shopping day for me though!

Although I did 3 transactions I was only able to use

1 of the $5/$50 coupon. When I went back this evening

the manager on duty (unlike the morning manager)

decided to follow a 10 coupon limit.

No problem, it was still a great shop!

Kmart paid me $6.94 to shop there today!

Doubles at Kmart not just P&G!

Remember I wrote about doubles at Kmart and how first corporate said it was a regular doubles event and then they swore up and down that it was going to be a P&G only doubles event? Well guess what the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing because for 95% of stores they are just handling it like good old regular doubles! I didn't really want to write about it until I could confirm it last night.

I'll post my trips later but I just wanted to let you all know to get your Qs ready and head on over! I found a lot of the items in stock this time because my Kmart didn't advertize it in their circular only in one of the inserts with a double your P&G Qs theme, so hopefully you'll find your shelves pretty stocked too!

Rumor Has it, more Doubles at K-mart!

Hi all, I'm back!

I had a great time with some amazing gals this weekend.

Now I'm back and it's time for some serious savings.

Rumor has it K-mart is going to be doing another

doubles event starting this Sunday September 27th!

I have an e-mail in with them to confirm.

I'd suggest that you start looking through your

coupons and getting your game plan ready.

This is GREAT news for us, but probably not

great news for Kmart. They didn't want to do this again

in 09 and were hoping that increased sales around the

holidays would increase their bottom line but

obviously that hasn't happened.

If they are still doing doubles after Thanksgiving

then I'd be selling my K-mart stock!

(I don't own any but if I did).

that this is only for Proctor & Gamble coupons.

I don't know what possessed me to buy the Hormel Completes now instead of waiting for a B1G1 sale so I could get them both free. I think this is what happens when you go to the store hungry. I really wanted to get out of there for under $1 but sometimes you have to splurge!

I am officially done with K-mart double coupons, after all I know that after a one week break, I get to do it all over again! When I went to my new favorite K-mart I found a new coupon book full of MC over by customer service. That enabled me to get some seriously cheap batteries and free deodorant - like I really needed more deodorant! :-) Here's what we got...

I decided I'd go ahead and spend my last $5 from the Renuzit deal since I have no plans on going back to K-mart till August 30th for Double Coupons. So, I bought a pair of shoes for work.

These were on clearance for $6.99.

When I got up to the register they rang up $4.89!

The only problem was I needed to reach $5 to use my Renuzit credit.

What's the cheapest thing I can find by the register? Snickers!

Snickers $.89 - bringing my total to a whopping $ .78!!!!

K-mart announces 8/30 Double Coupons AGAIN!

Yes it's official.

Got the e-mail confirmation today that Kmart is running another double coupon week starting 8/30. Isn't that crazy! My local area will be participating. This must be working for them or they wouldn't keep doing it. So I'm just doing my part to stimulate the local economy.

I love getting paid to bring this stuff home! The 5$ was for a promotion they are running where if you spend $15 in participating products (in my case Renuzit) you got $5 off your next purchase. If you spend $10 you get $3. So that was a nice bonus!

*Now keep in mind I don't figure in tax when I calculate these, taxes are different everywhere so that would be too confusing. It was still a Money Maker for me even after taxes but your mileage will vary.
